SO MANY FEELINGS. ALL OF THE FEELINGS.

Pretty sure I cried through 70% of the film, but I don’t even care. Everything was beautiful and nothing everything hurt (in a good way).

It was dark, very dark, but also incredibly touching. There are so many things to say about the series but most of them have been said before by people more eloquent than I. I will say that I’m happy the movies exist. Many people were against them, popularizing a series that - for children - was a major reading milestone. But I’ll say I’m happy more people have been touched by the story and I’m overall really happy with the way it has been portrayed. So much justice to J. K. Rowling’s incredible and timeless world.

I’m going to see it again, and again. And I don’t think it’ll stop touching me, ever.  I’m going to wait awhile before I see it again, because MY HEART NEEDS TO HEAL.

I just want to write out, finally:

Thank you J. K. Rowling for this beautiful gift that you’ve given the world. You have put magic in my life, and in the lives of so many others, and we are all grateful.

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

These are essentially my feelings.

There’s only one major thing that disappointed me - I wish we could have seen Fred’s death properly with Percy weeping over his body and everything. AND I COULDN’T FULLY APPRECIATE THE KISS WITH RUPERT’S HEAD BLOCKING THE ACTION.
